With warehousing space at an absolute premium these days due to the huge increase in home deliveries, the logistics and warehousing workforce is far larger than it ever has been before in the UK. This brings the added pressure of ensuring the workforce are safe and comfortable throughout their often long working days, and a good place to start with improving this is to provide good quality matting that will encourage muscle movement and increase blood flow, which in turn will ease the aches and pains caused by standing for long periods of time.

Non-slip flooring for loading bay areas

With the huge increase in warehousing and distribution due to the surge in home deliveries, there’s always the danger that loading bay areas and loading platforms can become worn and slippery making the potential for slips and trips a higher risk.

Any spillages of liquids or even powders on a hard concrete surface could cause a serious accident in areas where forklifts, vehicles and heavy boxes would be present. These areas can be covered in graphite chip coated sheets of GRP which will provide long term slip resistant floor areas in busy logistics and dispatch areas.
